The extra virgin olive oils of Vafis come from the sun-blessed Messara olive groves of the Koroneiki variety. We produce supreme extra virgin olive oil from both conventional and organic farming by cold extraction, which means that no high temperatures are involved in the process, thus preserving their antioxidants that contain vitamins E and C, phenols and polyphenols.

Vafis Olive Oil is very low in acidity and is produced from olives of the Koroneiki variety in the greater area of the valley of Messara, Crete. We never mix olive oils from various harvest periods: each period has its own characteristics and attributes which we want to preserve in every vintage.
